The short version

PuzzleFoundry uses one Google Ads tag to learn whether paid search advertising brings relevant people to this website. Advertising and analytics storage are denied by default. You can allow or reject measurement cookies, revisit that choice at any time, and use the site either way.

Project enquiries use the website contact form. Cloudflare processes and protects each submission, then sends it to PuzzleFoundry’s inbox. A completed project enquiry may be measured as a Google Ads conversion; privacy questions and rights requests are not project-enquiry conversions.

How Google Ads measurement works here

The Google tag for PuzzleFoundry’s Ads account is loaded on each page. It helps measure paid-ad visits and completed project enquiries. Opening the contact page or starting the form is not treated as a lead. PuzzleFoundry does not use Google Analytics on this site.

Before you make a choice, Google Consent Mode is set to deny advertising storage, analytics storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation. The tag may send limited, cookieless signals with advertising data redaction enabled; it must not set or read advertising or analytics cookies in that state.

If you allow measurement, Google Ads may use cookies or similar identifiers to connect a visit with an ad interaction and report aggregated campaign performance. After Cloudflare accepts a genuine project enquiry for email delivery, the site may send Google Ads a generated enquiry reference so repeat reporting can be prevented. It does not include the form’s name, email address, organisation or project details. Enquiries marked as privacy questions are excluded from this project-enquiry conversion. Analytics storage and personalised advertising remain disabled. Google processes measurement information under its own terms and privacy controls. Read Google’s privacy policy.

03 / Choice

Your choice stays reversible

Your Allow or Reject choice is saved in this browser’s local storage under puzzlefoundry.measurement-consent.v1 so the site does not ask on every page. This preference is necessary to remember the instruction you gave; it is not used for advertising.

Use cookie settings whenever you want to change that choice. Rejecting measurement does not remove site content or stop you contacting PuzzleFoundry.

04 / Enquiries

Information you send directly

When you submit the contact form, the name, email address, organisation or project name and project information you provide are used to respond, assess the brief and continue the business conversation you requested. Cloudflare provides the website edge, Turnstile abuse checks and email-delivery infrastructure, so it also processes technical request information such as the originating IP address while protecting and delivering the submission. The form contents are forwarded to PuzzleFoundry’s inbox; they are not used to add you to a mailing list.

Do not send sensitive personal information that is not needed for the project. If plans or sketches would help, submit the form first and attach them when PuzzleFoundry replies.

Correspondence may be retained for practical project, legal and accounting needs, then deleted when it is no longer required.

Questions, access and deletion requests

PuzzleFoundry is responsible for the website measurement described on this page. To ask what information is held about you, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern, use the privacy contact form. These requests are handled as privacy correspondence and are not reported as Google Ads project-enquiry conversions. If the form cannot be used, write to contact@puzzlefoundry.co.uk.
